After 2 months of setting up my panniers & buying all the essential gear it was time to give it a good trial run...The Watagans ~ located around 1hr from Sydney was the ideal location for a quick over nighter.
I left Monavale at 4:30pm on Saturday afternoon & headed up the Pacific Hwy via Hornsby
Carly met me up at Kulnura, we rode in & set up camp just after dark.
It wasn't long before I had a fire going & dinner was under way.
After a good nights sleep we loaded up & had a quick tour around some local trails before heading to Jerry's Cafe for a coffee.
Overall fairly happy with all the gear however I do have a list of a few items I forgot!
